Taking a Break

As you know, I'm trying to launch my Nerium business.

I really want this to work.
I really need for this to work.

In January, my husband learned that
the company that he works for
was about to start lay-offs.
Contractors were released a month ago.
The company has been running at 25%.

A couple of weeks ago,
the company offered packages for those
who would volunteer to take a severance package
and retire early.

That was not an option for us.
Thursday my husband came in very distraught,
to say the least.
When he got in that morning, his assistant
had been escorted to his car and asked to turn in
his keys, his phone, and to clean out his desk.

This man has a family, a wife and a young teenage daughter.
They are very close to us and we attend church together.
Please pray for this family and for David as his work load will increase
and we deeply care about our friends.

I will be taking some time off to care for my family.
Please pray for God's provision and His direction.

Tomorrow night, I will be hosting my Nerium Launch Party.
Please pray for attendance.  Please pray that everyone there
will be uplifted in the presence of other women.
If this step is God's will for me, I pray for responses.
I really believe God wants me to lead a team of women.
This may be a chance to make a difference and provide for my family too.

Thank you my friends.
I'll be back.
Just need some time away.

Those of you who would I correspond with by email are welcome to email me
and I will be happy to respond.

It's About the Person

What's your dream?

My dream would sound something like this,
"I want to teach women."

"I want to help other women reach their fullest potential."

"I want to help women feel good about themselves."

"I want to make women feel beautiful, inside and out."

I love encouragement.
I love to encourage.
I love to be encouraged.
I love to bring a smile to someone's face.

That's what I like about Nerium,
the fastest growing anti-aging product on the market.
In Nerium, you hear as much about the PERSON as the PRODUCT.

Today I am sending kisses your way and
sharing an anti-aging product, Nerium.

I looked in the mirror one day and I saw a very tired old woman.
My head said I was 35, my birth certificate said 54, and my face....well,
there were 65 year old women with better skin than mine.

In just 14 days,
the texture of my skin had improved significantly.

My friend has been using it for 1 year.
See her results...

and

 and this.

Amazing, huh?

Joyce posted her photos on Facebook.
I was like, "Wow!"

I thought she had been on a weight-loss program
and I wanted to know how I could lose the chin and the luggage bags under my eyes.

She said, "Let's get together and talk about it."

I received my training kit today.
Can you hear me screaming?

I immediately hit the books and the training CD's.
I admit this kind of learning is a bit different from turning pages.

Most of what I've been listening to is,

"Give it away."

"Give-it's the right thing to do, it's the smart thing to do."

"Focus on making people better."

"It's about the person."

"Do the right thing."

"Give without asking anything in return."

"Build People."

"Be there for people ."

"Believe in people until they believe in themselves."

I love the Nerium product but more than that,
I love the philosophy behind the product.

I'm taking the Nerium journey.
I'd like to take you along with me.

All My Loves

Most of you know that I prefer white and pink
even for Valentine's Day.

I bought the banner at Hobby Lobby.
It was my main purchase.
I was going to make one similar to this,
but found this for less than I can make one.

I didn't know that my Love was in the background.
Better watch what you photograph.
The mister could have been in his underware.
Seriously, you know how men are!

I used a few of my "loves" for decorating.
Rachel Ashwell will always be my choice of style
even if I have only one Shabby Chic room in the house.
It's still my favorite!

White porcelain, ironstone or milkglass are my first loves.

I decided to bring some milkglass out of the pink room.

Surround yourself with things that you LOVE
and you will always smile.

My Cutielove loved Callie.
I was so mad with my kitty for biting my cutie.
My sweet girl cried and cried.
Sorry but I spanked the cat and sent her out the door.
I love my kitty but not more than my babies.

My first born GRANDlove captured my heart first.

Can you believe how much Babylove has grown?
Today she weighs 8 pounds.

Lactation specialist says that she no longer has to be woken up
at night for feedings and to stop the bottle feedings.
Yippee!  We're getting there and MY baby girl can get some rest.

These are my LOVES.

Please share yours.

One Heart

Today I went to Hobby Lobby,
every husband's nightmare.

I picked up more than I needed, as always.
When I started to check out, I had to get her to hold a few.
Anybody else had to do this???

Moving some things around again,
I added the tray that I got from Hobby Lobby.

I painted the jar at Christmas and painted the center a few days ago.
I added a sprig of Spring and a single heart.
We're expecting a cold front tonight.
Lows tomorrow of 20.
I can't imagine one digit temps.

A single heart will have to do.

The little ones have my heart.

This was a random shot that the photographer shot
at the end of Harper's newborn session.
She caught me getting some good loving.
No make-up, hair not boofed, wrinkles show,
but so does my love.
She sent this to me so I'm assuming it's okay to share.
I won't share on facebook.

I stand in awe that God could love her more.
She is such an angel, our little miracle.
One heart is always big enough to hold another.

Can't believe we're only a few days away from Valentine's Day.
Did I mention that I'm going to Nashville???

Lots of Hugs and Kisses to my blogging buddies!

Living Room Redo in Process

I have been waiting for a new sofa.
I've bought second hand and poor quality for years.
We counted that we've had 5 sofas in the past 5 years.
You know I love a bargain, but bargins without good quality
are not bargains.  They are a mess!

So, Mr. H said we could spend the bonus money on what I want.

It's gray.  It is comfy.
I was afraid the gray would not work
with the beige walls so I got a rug to pull it all together.
It worked.
I'm gonna paint the rocker ivory to brighten up
the room a bit.

I'll have to get some wall art with some white,
beige and gray.  I'm looking for a seascape.

I moved the H and the birdcage.
I pulled it together with some of my pitchers.

I bought the plant stand from a friend/vendor at our local flea market.
She always gives me a deal.
My house has something from her booth in every room.

I sold a plant stand that I loved, similar to this
while I had the shop.  I let someone (a friend) take
it home to try before she bought and I was never paid.
In our small town, I see her often.
I am always so embarresed.  She doesn't seem to care in the least.

As everything, this room is a work in progress.

Wall art, a painted chair, a painted coffee table and we'll be set for a while.

Putting life into a room, gives me joy!
I need a little bit on this gloomy day.

Hugs and Kisses,
