I have a love of milk glass too. so classic!<br />In answer to your question on the chalk paint- I've found that you have to work quickly with your brush strokes, and once it starts to set up, you can't keep brushing it or it will get gummy. I've also noticed that when I get to the bottom of a can, that the mixture get a little thicker and I don't like the way it goes on as well.
