Maybe we are just about settled
and things will return to normal.
MAYBE!
I added a few things to our home.
I bought the bookshelf at T.J. Maxx.
I don't usually buy retail but the shops
around Nashville are kinda pricey.
I can't wait until the end of the month.
The Nashville Flea Market is the best!
I placed the shelf under my milk glass plates
and was able to pull out some more to display.
I am hanging this on the wall beside my bed
to remind myself before I go to sleep at night
and wake up in the morning that
"It is Well with my Soul."
This is probably my favorite hymn of all time.
I've been going to the pool an hour every other day
or so for some Vitamin D.
I've even been to the gym a few times.
This is my view there and all around our apartment.
When peace like a river attendeth my way,
When sorrow like sea billows roll.
Whatever my lot,
Thou hath taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.
Bonnie
I am happy to read your settling in. Our Target is about an hour away in a town called Elmira, we don't get out that way much though. ANYWAYS---always enjoy your post's, Bonnie. Blessings
ReplyDeleteIndeed! All will be well with your soul! xx
ReplyDeleteI do love a bargain - and sometimes they give us more satisfaction than paying out loads don't they? Looks perfect! Have a blessed Sunday xx
ReplyDeleteThe apartment is beginning to look like a home. I find swimming to be a great way to relax and to reflect - it is where I offer up my prayers.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are getting settled and adding some of your lovely things to your place. "It is Well"....oh yes, a definite favorite of mine. Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)
ReplyDeleteFrom my little apartment, me and the pupsters are on the bed watching out the window as it rains.

Everything looks so nice! That song is one of my favorites and I love, love your sign!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that it is well :)
ReplyDeleteLOL I saw that time 'a few times' after I've been to the gym......I'd have to say the same. I REALLY NEED to start walking!!!! I don't go out when it's cold and wet....and that is the weather we've been having.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful lovely green you have to look at around your place! Glad you are swimming and going to the gym (a little)! Enjoy a beautiful new week! Blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteI love that Hymn too:) It is well, with my soul, It is well, It is well... with my soul:) Have a blessed day dear Bonnie, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge believer in sunshine and exercise as a cure for the blues! I also recommend a daily vitamin for women. All in all it can't hurt to do any of those things.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful hymn. I love your touches of milk glass. Glad you are getting settled in your new place and keep enjoying your time in the pool. It sure is hot early this year. I dread July and Aug.
