Home
Ain't it good to be back home again. Yes, been to GA, but I can honestly say that I was ready to come home. And TN feels like home.
I stayed with my sister. She has a cozy little cottage and inherited some pieces from her husband's family.
The chicken oil painting is over 100 years old.
This is now.

ReplyDeleteLove that red bead board wall! Isn't it funny how all of a sudden a new abode seems like home after you have been gone? This happened to us when we moved here...we moved in in late fall and after a week of visiting over the holidays, returning here seemed like home for the first time :)

I had this color in one of the rooms in my old home, and I really miss it. I bet it's good to be home.......home is one of the nicest places to be.
