My heart is anxious today.
Therefore, I seek comfort in God's Word.
My neighbor's flowers |
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
and do not return to it without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out of mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:10-11

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I will pray for what is making you anxious dear friend, HUGS and PRAYERS coming your way!
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I will be praying for your anxious heart, Girlfriend. You have shared a couple of verses of Scripture that I have marked in my Bible. We had a visiting missionary at our church during a time when I was going through a crisis with one of our children. The missionary preached through those verses and being reminded that God's Word would not return empty was the balm that soothed my soul. You illustrated it beautifully.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you,
Dianna
Good Morning, I pray for the anxious heart and mind to be at rest and peace. You can do all things through Christ Jesus...
ReplyDeleteToday you arise and smell the flowers and sing praises to His Holy Name.
Blessings, Roxy
