I look for inspiration

among other bloggers.
I love all the many shades of white.
As much as I love white,
I looked all around and I don't
I looked all around and I don't
have one single white room.
My kitchen cabinets are white
and I love my glass tile.
It makes me think of the ocean.

It makes me think of the ocean.
Our small space bedroom is next on my list.
Not much you can get in there.
This is my inspiration.
I paid $4 for each at Walmart.
The blue and gray will be the "pop" colors
and most everything else will be white.
I have this great chest.
It is solid and I paid $60 for it
a few years ago.
It will be some kind of white.
The wall is a blue gray.
The board art has to go!
I just don't like it.
Maybe somebody else will.
I'll distress it to make it booth-worthy.
I'll use a mirror about the chest
and another small one on one wall.
Of course, a lamp will help.
I'll take any ideas.
Bonnie:)
Ok Bonnie you know me and white. I love the blue and grey with the white. It will be very serene and soft for your bedroom. I cannot wait to see what you do in there.

I think white would be beautiful against the blue gray walls. That's exactly what I have in my bedroom. It feels peaceful! Whatever you do, have fun with it!
ReplyDeletewould you consider doing two tones on the chest....wood and white? that would look so pretty.
ReplyDeletelove your kitchen, bonnie! and the signs are so cute:) you are off to a good start for your room!
ReplyDeleteI am jealous of your kitchen!! My kitchen is very old and very country (well..we do live in a hundred year old house, lol)
ReplyDeleteBonnie, it is just me, but I like what you did and wouldn't change anything. Blessings
I think the white, with the blue and gray is so peaceful looking! I love furniture painted white too.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love it when you find the inspiration for an entire room makeover. Very serene.

ReplyDeleteBonnie, I love your kitchen cabinets and tile! We just recently put new cabinets and white tile in our kitchen but I am going two-tone; white on upper cabs and a sage-ish green on the lower. I saw several kitchens online (Pinterest) done like this and really like it. Decorating is fun! And paint is relatively affordable :) Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteHello Bonnie! I am back home and trying to do a bit of catch up on blog reading and leaving comments.

ReplyDeleteI'm in love with whites/grays/blues as well….just very soothing. Although, the only room that has that is my guest room and I LOVE It.
ReplyDeleteI used chalk paint on all the furniture in there; it was super easy and looks great!
