Unspeakable Joy

One year ago today, Harper surprised us with a 6 week early arrival.

She is our long awaited for miracle. Eight years of waiting, prayers, tears, procedures, loss and disappointments, we experienced unspeakable joy.

Thank you God.

Some thoughts as we enter the holiday season ... It is important to remember that not everyone is surrounded by large wonderful families. Some have problems during the holidays and are overcome with great sadness when we remember the loved ones who are not with us. And, many people have no one to spend these times with and are besieged by loneliness. We all need each other. I found this on my Facebook and thought I'd share with you.

If you are feeling lonely today, consider yourself hugged by me.

Bonnie

  2. I, too, prayed for years before being blessed with my last two children! How sweet it is to receive the desires of your heart! "For this child I prayed, and God hath given me that which I requested."

  5. Harper is a cutie. Y'all are so lucky you can be parents / grandparents. It's not always possible for everyone. And thank you for the ditty at the bottom about how some people deal with crushing loneliness, bad memories or financial worries this time of year. As Christians, it's important to reach out to all who need us. And ((Hugs)) back at ya. You're a sweetie and one in a million to be sure.
Hope your day is blessed Bon Bon. ~:)

Thank you for the sweet card. It and the note inside meant a lot. It's on display with our other cards and continues to make me smile when I see it. You really are a blessing!

  8. She is so precious!!! I understand this so much, was told I'd never have children and 7 years of prayers I had Hayley and 4 years later by a total miracle Kathleen. I cherish them every single day. Many blessings to your family!
