Wall Gallery

I'm still having some problems with my internet. Hope you'll give me a few days.

I'm surely taking my time getting the house in order. I have what I need but not enough to fill it. Not a bad problem, it's just gonna take some time. I am still just sick that I gave my mama's buffet to a family member. I didn't have room in the apartment and couldn't take it with me. Now I have more than enough room.

This weekend I worked on a wall gallery that I have been trying to do for some time. I needed larger frames but I used what I had for now.

I have been looking sometime for a clock. I sold a lamp on Varage Sale and made enough to buy this for 1/2 price at Hobby Lobby. This is how I wheel and deal.

I sold a small table and got this. This is mine and Connor's song.

I ready wanted a farmhouse look but I'd have to do a complete makeover so I'm adding a piece of rustic one at a time.

Ughhhh! The old recliner has to stay for now. No one's taking the bait and I don't have the money right now for another.

The letters are for our families last initials. Christy will always be a Hitchcock to her mama but of course she is now a Grant, thus the different initial.

The cabinet filled with ironstone is now my entry table.

I recently added a new bird.

The master bedroom feels like home.
Not much changed here.

I'll share a larger view of the living room soon and also a dresser that was given to me FREE, a coffee table that I got for $10, and a shutter that I picked up beside the road. These DIY projects are in the making.

It's hot here!!! And humid!!! What's it like in your neck of the woods?

  1. The new decorations are fantastic! Very pretty. Nice wall grouping too. As for the recliner, if y'all don't like the color, just make a cover of your choice when finances agree. I've been doing that for years. I've recovered my dining chairs so often I've forgotten what the original color was. *giggle* WOW IS IT HOT and HUMID down this way but I'm sure you remember those days.
Thanks for sharing your lovely new house. Can't wait to see all the stuff you do for it. Hope you can take a break and enjoy the grandkids.
    Luv ~:)

  3. Looks wonderful!!!
    Good for you, my friend.
It is hot for June here in Pa.
Not fans of the sun or heat, so we go out a bit in the morning, and spend the afternoon inside.
After dinner is my favorite time outside...
    Have a cozy evening. : )

  12. Hi Bonnie~~Your home is looking just lovely. I took some extra time and scrolled along looking at all you beauty in the rooms that you have shared with us. Your home looks so clean and clutter free.
You said in one of your posts that we could not see in certain areas in your bedroom and one of those places was under the covers of your bed, it made me chuckle because one of my mother's cats will hide under the covers when guests come over. Did you by chance have a cat hiding, lol.
Sorry to hear about your fall down the garage stairs, ouch!! Happy to hear that you were not hurt too badly. I'll say a prayer for you and your healing.

We are having beautiful weather here in the Rockie's and everything is looking quite beautiful in full bloom.

Have a beautiful and blessed rest of the weekend~~
