Ball Jars and Chalkpaint

A couple of weeks ago,
I bought a box of 9 Ball jars
(clear, old, not new)
for $5.

I found this wire basket that I love!

So, you know what I've been doing.
I've been painting jars with chalk paint.
I distressed them a bit like they do on Pinterest.

I found these dried whatevers for $2.
I photographed them on the vintage tablecloth
that I was told to "take and be blessed."

It's hard for me to receive so I gave her $1.
I know, I know, I ripped her off.

I kinda like them in the white room.
I think I'll stack some pretty white linen in the basket.

What do you think?
Keep or sell?

I hope your Sunday has been filled with love, peace and joy.
Mine sure has been.

  1. You know Bonnie, you have a knack to make things so pretty..keep..Blessings

  2. Keep, at least for a decide it's something you can't part with. I sure like the jar make-overs. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  3. Keep some and sell some. Very cute. Hope your job is going well.

  4. I think Debby is right - keep some, sell some. I love them!

  5. I second or third the motions...keep some, sell some.

  6. Oh I love the look of painted Ball jars! It's so shabby chic looking to me, especially if you add flowers or a candle. I think you should keep them.

  7. I really love the chalk pain on the old jars...I have some of those out in the garage ~ maybe I will do something similar. Great idea! Have a great week!

  8. These are definitely keepers. Love them!!

  9. I'd have to keep these. Love it, especially with the whatevers. :-)

  10. Love, love, love your jars!! They are so pretty painted white. I've been wanting to try this, but haven't been brave worried that I will ruin them.

  11. Seeing as you have a few jars there, some to keep some to sell! They look very pretty especially with the dried seed heads in them, just right for the upcoming time of year. xx

  12. They look so cute...I need to paint a few jars!

  13. Wow!!! Very nice, love the look.Blessings Francine.

  14. Bonnie...these are so cool and I love them painted white. Here's what I would do..keep them for a while and when you grow tired of them, SELL :)

  15. Hi Bonnie, thanks so much for stopping by today and leaving a comment. I love that you've done with the jars, I like them with the white too. I would have to keep them, at least for awhile! :)

  16. You've been enjoying Pinterest. Too often, I pin and that's it. I say what everyone else says, keep until you've moved on to the next thing. It's very cute!

  17. Hi Bonnie, You are so talented... Those Bell Jars are gorgeous with that chalk paint... I would keep a few and sell the rest --but it all depends upon YOU --and what you want to do... Whatever you do, good luck.

  18. Those chalk paint jars are so cool, Bonnie. I would definitely keep a couple. Jess is really into these mason jars. I'll have to tell her about this.

    Have a happy week.

  19. Hi Bonnie. I've seen those jars on Pinterest too and thought they are so cute, but haven't made any yet. I love them and if it were me, I would keep!..Happy Monday..Judy

  20. Wow-you made them so pretty. How could you part with such prettiness???

  21. I'm sure it would sell in a heartbeat....but it would be soooo nice to keep. Hope you can come to a decision :)
