Finished Projects...Almost

I've been trying to finish up a few projects this week and bring them inside. I guess it was time to get moving. My post a few days ago must have motivated me to begin.

I bought this coffee table for $15. It's old school, narrow and perfect for my space.

The person I bought it from had already sanded it and just got tired of the project. I can relate.

All it needed was a coat of paint. Well, make that 3 coats and a wax job.

Harper helped me get the flag up. Of course, I new immediately that it would be a do over. The H is crooked and the burlap raveled. I'm gonna be in the look out for a burlap placemat. That should work perfectly.

It looks great from the road. That's good because it may be awhile before I get around to doing it over.

I had someone do a vinyl cut out for my mailbox.

We grilled for the family tonight. Nothing makes me happier than hearing my Little girls squeal and watching my little boy play frisbee with my big boy (his daddy).

I am tired...a good tired...(sigh)

  1. I love the little table, and the basket on top. I also love your garden flag and see nothing wrong with it, smiles.

What a lovely name for a street. smiles

  2. Love the table! Our coffee table needs it's legs shortened and a coat (or three) of paint. Not sure when that will happen. I have a little painting project to do for Ellen's birthday next week.....gotta get moving on that! It never lets up, does it ;-)
God bless your day, my friend!

  3. Bonnie, I love your coffee table deal. and it looks good. I think we can some times get ourselves in gear when we need too. I have been cleaning and sorting for a week. I am so ashamed of the money I have wasted on clothes...some worn many time (that's good) some worn once or twice and some with the tags still on them...it's sad really. some still fit and were out dated and some will never fit again. LOL. Good bye to the bags and bags of donations and hello to the floor of my closet that I have not seen in a few years. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  4. The flag looks very country but I understand that seeing it close up might not be your favorite. I think a burlap place mat would do well all decorated. I really like your mailbox.
