God's Purpose Will Be Achieved

My heart is anxious today.
Therefore, I seek comfort in God's Word.

My neighbor's flowers
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
and do not return to it without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out of mouth:

It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:10-11

Brown Clover English Ironstone Adams by Wedgewood

I've been searching for brown transferware.

I was so excited when I came across a box full,
$10.
Did you hear me scream?
TEN DOLLARS!
(5 dinner plates, 5 cup and saucers, 3 soup bowls, 2 bread and butters plates)

It is stamped, "ADAMS, Member of the Wedgewood Group."
Real English Ironstone
I've never seen this pattern before.
It's called Brown Clover.

Although not a complete set,
each piece was in perfect condition.

I added the large restaurant ironstone plates
to serve as chargers.

I can't hold beans with the big-time bloggers,
but I sure do like to steal their ideas.  (Hee! Hee!)

I dropped the Tea Pot and broke the lid.
I started to put it in my booth,
but decided to use it as a vase.

Blogging early because I need my friends to pray.
Say a prayer for my daughter.
She's feeling a little anxious today.
Pray for peace as she waits.

Small Changes for the Gray and Red Room

I'm making small changes today.
The brown star is now red.

I still want to add something to the door.
Maybe a sign?
What do you think?

I'm only painting the one wall
behind the bed for now.

This is what the small space under the photo board
looks like now.

I decided to use an old box with Ball Jars to hold
my sponges, cotton balls and cotton swabs.

I brought home the milk glass jars that didn't sell
in my booth and added them to the vanity.

Tomorrow I'm bringing home my sister's red wardrobe.
Can't wait for you to see!

Stone Gray Wall and a Red Chicken Wire Photo Board

The walls in every room of my house
have been painted at least three times
in the past 30 years.

And here I go again.

Valspar Flat Stone Mason Gray
from Lowe's

Don't you just hate the mess!

There are gray footprints, hand prints, fingerprints,
and even elbow prints on my "oops" rag.
(And even some on the ceiling! Don't look closely.)

Shoot! I sure hope there's not a crime scene investigation.
I am GUILTY!

Remember the red and gray I am looking to achieve?

This is my first project-a photo board made
with chicken wire.

Lord, Help Me!
(I don't say that in vain.  I mean it!)
