A HomeGoods Find

My littlest baby girl was sick yesterday
so I stayed with her
until her doctor's appt at 2:00pm.

I stopped by HomeGoods to kill some time before church.

I've been hitting GoodWill and have been sadly disappointed.
HomeGoods did not disappoint.

I found this great candle stick that I can
use over and over agin.
It was $5.

A tree now, a candle later,

the aqua blue goes perfectly with my jars.

I like.

They are treating my sweet baby for bronchiolits,
but we are pretty sure that she has asthma.
She is on breathing treatments,
Pulmucort twice a day and Albuterol four times a day.

With a temp of almost 102, she is still a sweet baby.

She is home with her mommy today.

*******

I don't know if I told you, but I have been asked to speak
at the women's retreat where I have been attending church.
We are taking a membership class (yes, Mr. H too!) and feel that this is our fit.
I will be teaching a women's Bible class in February,
FERVENT by Priscilla Shier.

I feel like I've been waiting my whole life for this moment.

It's as I've I learned to praise him in the hallway,
that God has begun to open doors.

To be near my children and see God's plan unfold,
the vision He gave me 30 years ago,
is more than I can fathom, too wonderful
for me to contain (as said in Psalm 139).

My joy is unspeakable!

Bless sweet little Harper. I hope she feels better soon. Hopefully she will out grow some of her breathing issues. Our Aidan is so much better now that he's older and it's easier to keep the asthma under control.
    God bless you, sweet friend!

  7. Oh how I love that sign, I have never seen that particular saying before. It's so true. My husband and I are waiting for a door to open right now and we have to wait patiently which is sometimes difficult. Praising him in the hallway is perfect. I hope your little one is doing better.

  14. Bonnie, I'm so happy for you being able to find your niche in your church. When you contemplated moving to TN, you probably had no idea how it would turn out but God is certainly orchestrating all this in your life. So sorry for the little one. Generally the little ones grow out of asthma. I'm glad she's home and doing better. The blue glass candle holder is amazing. So pretty with your jars. Have a great day.
