Mountains, Family and GA Football

I'm so ready for a weekend in the mountains.

This is what the creek looked like this time last year.

The leaves were yet to turn, but it was still a little piece of paradise.

We enjoyed the porch.

The view was spectacular.

But give me this anyday, anywhere!

We probably won't get the mountains this year,
but there will be lots of family time as
we look forward to Connor man's birthday
baby showers and the arrival of Harper Elizabeth.

My boy made it home this weekend even though
he spent the day with his dad and a friend in Athens.
At least I got a hug.

It was the GA/TN rival game.
It was in Memphis last year.
(Can you see the baby Cora bump?)
Can't believe how big she is now!

I have a feeling she's gonna be a little Rocky Top TN girl
in spite of her daddy.
I think she's a cutie in orange or red!

This was the mascot for TN before the game.

This was after!

I guess you can tell who won!

It just doesn't get better than this!

TN dog may be bigger
but GA is badder and cuter!

I'm a GA girl,

  1. I live in Athens and the town was rockin after that great game!

  2. That looks like fun. The little girl is so cute. What a smile that kid has!
The mountains can look really pretty this time of year. We're hoping [fingers crossed] to squeeze in a 3 or 4 day jaunt to NW South Carolina before our house renovations start. We take cheap vacations: carry our own food, go bird watching, ride motorcycles, etc. I hope we can go.
    Luv ~:)

  3. I was looking at the picture of your kids at the cabin and thinking what a difference a year makes. One baby here and another on the way. :)
Cora is just adorable and Harper will be too!
The mascot pictures are so cute!

  4. Great family pictures. Hope you have a fun time. xoxo,Susie

  5. LOL- I can tell you are a GA girl! What a great game day and just look at that baby girl. She is getting SO BIG!
Hope you have a great night- xo Diana

  6. Nothing is better than family time-whether in the mountains or at home. Love those cute babies!

  7. I'm a GA fan too! It was a good game. Loved seeing the mountain pics from last year.

  8. We watched the game:) My Daughter and her hubby have season tickets but didn't go because of other things going on! Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!

  9. Sweet family photos! I can see the baby bump :) so exciting! Your little Cora is growing up so fast.
The mountains are beautiful but so is ANYWHERE that includes family. :)

  10. Loved your photos, Bonnie!
There is nothing like family no matter where you spend time with them.
    Blessings indeed! :-)

  11. Nothing like being in the mountains with family!!! I love the photos of everyone on the porch. Your little grand-baby is one darling girl!
I can tell you love GA AND your family!
