A Girlie Birthday Party

Birthday parties for my children
were few and far between.
I think we may have celebrated
1, 5, 10, and 13.
Other than those,
it was cake and ice cream
and FAMILY.

These sweet mommies
and their babies
have Pinterest today.

Some little girls get the salon.
I helped do make-up and nails
at a local shop
a year or so ago.

I'm glad this mommy
brought the goodies home.

Are these not the cutest
little buckets full
of pedi goodies???

Yummy Nail Polish
or Cake Pops???

Cucumber slices for puffy eyes.

I think the mommy
may need these
in the morning.
Looks like it's gonna be a loooong night.

What fun!

Thanks Anna, for letting me share:)

  1. What fun, Bonnie. We used to do things very simply with our family, too...and the kids only had a couple of big "milestone" birthdays! Your birthday party is lovely. I think the cucumbers on the eyes picture is a really great one. My granddaughter had a salon party a couple of years ago, too. It was a lot of fun. xo Diana

  2. Bonnie, What a fun theme. I must admit I loved organizing my daughter's birthday parties. Some years were a little more extravagant than others, but always fun. My own birthday is shortly after Christmas and never really had a birthday "party"...I will admit I was making up for it. Oh what I could have done had I had Pinterest....
