I'm A Substitute Teacher

Tomorrow I officially begin my assignment
as a substitute teacher in the
Washington County, Georgia Public School system.

For two weeks, I will be assisting in the Drama/Dance class,
(well, everyone knows that with me there's always drama)

and the Music class.
(which I love, love, love)

One year my daughter was
awarded "Best Actress in State One Act."
That makes me a professional, right?
WRONG!

I will be working with The PE class too, HA!

For two weeks, I will be there to ASSIST the teacher,
NOT BE the teacher.
So, I agree,
when all else fails, let the teacher handle it.

My dream was to be a teacher,
but I never quite made it to the classroom.

The doors continued to close for me.

I was truly surprised when I got the letter
a couple of weeks ago saying that I had been approved.
I took the class and really didn't expect to be called.

I am elated to be working WITH THE TEACHER
in the same classroom for 2 weeks.
This will allow me the opportunity to learn
the schedule and procedures of a school day.

Please pray for me as I take this step.

Excited and Anxious!

Bonnie:)
