My Inspiration: A Chippy Wooden Mirror

Since I will be busy tomorrow,
I am posting tonight.

Today I was most productive
and feel very satisfied.

I made sandwiches for the
soup kitchen.
Tomorrow, I will help serve
First Love Kids,
an organization that helps unfortunate children.

It is an after-school program that our
church helps sponsor.

After I was done,
I did a little rearranging.

I mean who wants to clean anyway???

The mirror that I found yesterday
was my inspiration.

Oh my!
I fell in love with the chippy wood.
I don't know that I've ever seen a wooden hand mirror.

I used an old window for the backdrop
and a yarn wreath that my daughter made.

I added the silver bowl filled with shells
and the wooden box to give it some height.

I went digging and found the perfume bottle
and the milkglass cold cream jars.

Every chest needs a clock.
This one actually works.

Really want to paint this piece soon!
It has great bones.  I got it for $60.  So worth it!

Put all together
What do you think?

I'm not satisfied.
I'll take it all down tomorrow
and start over.

Happy Weekend,

Bonnie:)

If you think about my baby girl,
please say a prayer.
She begins injections for IVF
this week.
If all goes well, the implantation
will be the first week in May.

One day soon they will hold their own.

If you look closely, you'll see that my baby girl was about to burst.
She so loves her brother.  She was brave and loves that little girl.
So much emotion there...

As Beth Moore says,
God IS WHO He says He is.
God can do what He says He will do.
I am who God says I am.
I can do all thing through Christ,
God's Word is active and alive in me.
I'm believing God.

YES, I'M BELIEVING GOD!
