A Pink Christmas...again

Christmas is almost here, and
I've yet to show you all the rooms in my house.

I finally got around to doing the PINK room.
I used mostly pink and silver balls this year.

I hung my Shiney Brites from the mirror
and added white lights.

This is the first year that I've used the milk glass
that I love so much.  I've enjoyed cleaning each piece.
Does anyone else like washing their pretty glass?

The Dollar Tree fake silver tray
was perfect for making it all shine.

I didn't make the ornament with pearls,
but I like the idea.  That's something I think I can do.

The mercury glass votices were 1/2 price.

I bought three of these trays.
They proved quite useful.

I bought this at the end of Christmas sale last year.
It's glass and I don't do glass very well:(,
It's a pretty for sure.

Callie Anne thinks she's just as pretty in pink
as the rest of the room.

I agree.

Merry Christmas From My Heart to Yours,

Bonnie:)

A Little Touch of Christmas

Just adding a little Christmas to every room.

I had to have a little of my own sand and sea.

Decorating this room, gave me a chance to use
a favorite piece of my blue glass.

I'm leaning into JOY this Christmas.

Someone once told me,
"Surround yourself with the things you love and you'll always be happy."

I bought the two candle holders at The Dollar Tree.
That's right, $1!
They made me think of the sea.

I am getting ready to mail the Giveaway Prize.
I'm keeping this one for myself.

I see a star, a bright and shiney star.
See there, up there, it is so very far.
(A song my girl sang as a 5 year old in a Christmas play.)

Hope you enjoyed the blue room
and are enjoying a little touch of Christmas everywhere this year.

It's only 10 days til Santa comes!

Table #9: Pink With Promise

Just got back from the city,
HOT 'lanta!

I'm telling you,
I was country come to town
but that's another post!

Table #9 is
Pink with Promise
I guess you know who's table this is.

Does this look familiar?
Of course, it does.

I chose Pink Georgia transfer ware
made in England.
The stemware is Pink Swirl by Noritake,
both compliments of a couple of my friends.

I added some silver with the pink.

I filled my milkglass baskets with silver bells.
Each guest at my table got hugs and kisses:)

I bought this ornament at the end-of-the-season sale.
It is one of my favorites this year.

My shop, my blog, my table is always about PROMISE!

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders,
and He will be called Wonderful, Counselor,
Mighty God, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace,
there will be no end."
Isaiah 9:6-7

Jesus, yes Promise...
For His government and peace will never end!

Bonnie:)

A last look at the tables tomorrow.
I will announce the winner of the Giveaway tomorrow evening.

Preview of The Pink Table

Yes, I've found that a little dab of pink will do.

I decorated a small table top tree that I already had
and sat it atop the milkglass cake plate.
Myy daughter gave it to me one Christmas
and I rarely get to use it.

I am super excited about this event,
so I'm giving you a preview.

I added a table top tree skirt, vintage pink ball ornaments
and a string of silver beaded garland.

This is just a small glimpse of what you will see on Saturday.

I can hardly wait!

Vintage Balls of Pink

I've not decided whether or not to decorate the pink room.
Even though it's my favorite room in my house, I don't have anything new.

I just can't part with my milk glass, and the vintage balls are my favorite.  Most times I think less is more.

The ball ornaments remind me of the trees of my childhood.

I keep saying that one day, I will put up a tree with all vintage ornaments including the large colored bulb lights.  Everything vintage is so hard to find and not for a small price.  I haven't shopped many estate sales and that's where you usually find the best bargain prices.

So help me decide, do I decorate the pink room and enjoy what I have or do I search for more pink and stress about it?

This was last year. One of my favorite photos.  I know you can tell that I love pink.

Everything to me is prettier in pink.  My daughter said, "I know everything I get is going to be pink."  She was almost right.  I love it!

This is one of my favorite outfits.

Our LIFT (Ladies In Fellowship Together) Christmas banquet is Saturday.  I think I'll do a pink table.

Maybe that will curb my craving.

Be Happy and Blessed,

Bonnie:)

Riverfront Antique Mall: Meeting Distressed Donna Down Home

What a day of pickin'!

You know me, I got lost took the scenic route again,
with the help of Google.

I'm headed to Riverfront Antique Mall
in North Augusta, SC,
home of the famous blogger

I called Olive at
who lives across the river somewhere close-by.

"WHERE IN THE WORLD AM I AT?"

 How was she to know?

"Where are you?  What do you see?"
She knew exactly where I was.

I was going in circles.
Go Figure!

Olive said, "Look for Aisle B."

And there she was!

My first meeting with a real-life blogger!
I was so excited I didn't get any photos of Donna's booth
but I did buy some things.
She's my kind of gal.  She even had two baskets of FREEBIES.

I'll share my findings later.
They are still packed in the trunk.
I do mean packed!

I asked the owner,
"Can I take pictures?"

"Uhhhh.  Not sure."

OOPS! TOO LATE.

I shot these before I met Donna.

The above display was the first thing I saw when I walked in.
What an impression!

Shabby and Chic
and
Pretty in Pink

Rusty and Crusty
or
Linen and Lace
you will find at Riverfront.

A rusty, crusty plant stand,
NFS.

Is this not the cutest?

Crates and wooden boxes,
Painted furniture and chalkboards
were everywhere.

This was another darling booth.
I was shopping for resale
so I had to pretend these were NFS.

Several things in here were
"For Display Only."
After all,
presentation is everything.

Well, for some.
Honestly, I prefer a good dig.

I didn't check the price.
I can't believe I passed this by.
This would have been perfect in my milkglass room.

Distressed and framed scrapbook paper.
What a grand idea!

I left with a trunk full of goodies and some good ideas!

This will not be my last trip to Riverfront.

Fun!Fun!Fun!

Bonnie:)

I'll be sharing my finds on my next posts.

An Eye for White

It's got to be!
Cars everywhere on the side of the road.

A cow's gotten out
(hey, it can happen!)
or there's a flea market!

I look with longing eyes,
pleeeeeeeease:), Mr. H
(I'm batting my eyes)

YES! and I make a mad dash!

This time I only have eyes for white.
That's when I see it!
PERFECTION!
Hobnail Milkglass Powder Box

$5!!!!

Do you know what perfect pieces like this sell for
even in my flea market???
$25!

I paid $3 for the Avon perfume jar.

I still can't get over that I paid only $2 more for the milkglass!

My favorite piece now!

Shabby chic is classic.
Add roses and lace and it's romantic.
Add white and it's a perfect vignette.

Sometimes it's all in the eye!

Pink, pretty please?

Christy said,
"We don't do pink."

"WHAT?!!!!!!"

"Well, some pink, I guess
maybe an outfit or two."

You know me, a lover of all things white and PINK!

How can she say, "No Pink?"

She says, "Neutrals."

"With a pop of pink, right?"

I was so excited to find this rare piece of pink milkglass or "shell."
I found it in Juliette, GA last Saturday.
It was $12.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!

She says, "With a pop of coral or aqua."

Okay, okay.
Coral is in the pink family, right???

She showed me some of their ideas from Pinterest.

with a little less aqua and coral
and more neutrals.

Okay, I can see this,

or this.

Oh, yeah. I'm seeing it.  I'm getting it.

But can I exchange the white bear with a pink one?

I Dream in White and Pink,

Bonnie:)

Which colors do you prefer?
