Fall Scents from Better Homes and Gardens

Cooler temperatures this morning
with misty rain and a chilly breeze.

Fall has finally come to Georgia.

I decided it was time for my home
to smell like baked cookies, roasted pecans,
apples and cinnamon and pumpkin pie.

Are you kidding me???
No, I didn't bake.

I went to Walmart.

I discovered Better Homes and Gardens
scented wax cubes last year.

They smell YUMMY!

Tonight I'm melting
A Thankful Harvest
and
Golden Maple Waffles.

After Christmas last year,
I bought a bag full of BHG scents
for 50 cents each.

They lasted all year.
This is what's left.

I have tried Glade, Scent Scentsationals
and Scentsy and none can compare to BHG.

Glade scents smell like spray deodorizers
and are much too strong to my liking.

The aroma is short-lived with SS.

Scentsy waxes are WAY out of my budget
and they have a gazillion flavors.
Whew!  Too overwhelming.

I'll be scanning the Walmart shelf next week for
Brownie Pecan Pie
Farm Apple Pumpkin
Candied Apple, and
Vanilla Spice.

No, I am not getting paid to promote this product.

Follow your nose,
it always knows.
The flavor of fruit
wherever it goes.

Just passing this along,

Bonnie:)

  1. I just picked up two of the H&G candles at Walmart this past week. It is a really spicy scent and I LOVE it--I am surprised at how clean they burn, too. xo Diana

  4. I love it when I can start to have autumn scents burning, but we don't get enough of them over here, they seem to be mostly flowery floral scents, which are great in summer, but not what I need in the autumn! I had to do a little candle shopping when I was in the US to make sure that I was topped up! xx

  9. I love changing the scents in my house as seasons change. I haven't tried wax cubes, but I like Bath and body works plug ins. I agree with you on Glade.

  15. "Baked cookies, roasted pecans, apples and cinnamon and pumpkin pie ..." [said with a big smile] You BAD girl!! *lol* Now I'm hungry. The shorter days are nice too. I do love all those things. Autumn is my favorite time of year. As soon as I'm 100% again (recovering from an as yet unidentified mild tummy bug) I want to decorate for the season. Luv ~:)

  16. Somehow you've managed to make me extremely hungry! I love those fall and winter scents that fool your guests into thinking you're baking something yummy. That happened last week with my guys. When they came home my husband said..."Mom's making us some cookies!" They were puzzled when after dinner I didn't have them sitting out and my son finally asked when they were going to get to eat them!

  17. ...I hated to disappoint them, so I went the next day and got them some!
