A Few More Touches

Just a few more touches to make me smile.

The funnel-tree on the left is unfinished,
I know.
Can't decide what I want to do with it,
but for now I think it works with the silver.
Finally found a truck to haul my tree home.

The smile on that little fellow lights my world
even more than the lights on the tree.
He will be so much fun this year, his third Christmas.

I found some more vintage Santa mugs.
I can't believe these things are still out there.
I surely didn't expect to find any as
hot as they are in the magazines this year.

They are making new ones, but I prefer the old.
This is my favorite.
It is HUGE.
Don't you like???

Please pray for my daughter-in-law's family.
PaPaw went home to be with Jesus.
As difficult as it is, they are comforted
in knowing that he is now of sound mind,
at peace and free of pain.

Those babies made him happy.

Surely don't mind sharing my loves with this sweet family.
Prayers for them tonight.

Bonnie:)

  5. Bonnie, I'm so sorry to hear about this loss. It is never easy to lose a loved one, especially around the holidays. Although there is much comfort in knowing he is with Jesus, the loss is still hard. Keeping your sweet DIL and the family in prayer.

Yes, this little guy will have a blast this Christmas! Nothing like seeing it all through a child's eyes. I really miss that!

  14. Hi Bonnie, I'm happy to get to meet you- but sorry for the loss of this loved one. While it's a comfort to know our loved ones are home with the Lord- the "missing" is still so hard.

I look forward to getting to know you better! Happy Thanksgiving! Lea

  16. Isn't it a blessing that when your child marries their family becomes your family. Just today I took a toy bike to my granddaughter's other grandpa for his help to fix it.
I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving with lots of smiles.
    Prayers to both families.
