Today I Got Paid to Plunder

First day on my new job.

It was exhausting and at the same time exhilarating!

It feels like a new beginning.

Wedding bells are ringing at Geo.'s Quarters.

The boss is getting married in December
and Amanda is engaged.
No worries.
They are at just the right place.

Strange that boxing fine china and crystal can be so much fun.
Can you believe that I got paid to plunder???
Mama would never believe this!

You know how we pickers are;
we like to dig around in the boxes under the counter anyway:)

First, I took a stroll uptown with the boss to the new home of
Geo's Quarters.

Gorgeous!!!

Ah!  There is nothing like old brick!

The receding lights are going to be perfect for displays.
Joey has such great taste and is going for an industrial feel.
Can't wait to see!

I had so much fun wrapping plates, bowls, platters, and mugs
of Julista, Vietri, Spode, and Lenox.

We made a little visit to our neighbors,
Warthen Lane Interiors

Al is such a natural artist.
His vignettes are such eye candy.
Don't you just love the antique baby carriage!

I met Lisa who is such a doll.
I hope to see more of her interior designs.
You'll learn more about these great people in future posts.

The old buggy is a perfect focal point for displaying
gourmet edibles.

They say pigs make the perfect pets.
This one you don't even need to feed.
Love the patina!

I wish I had gotten a closer view of the mantle.
Mercury glass is one of my favorites.
I'll try to capture detail in my future posts.

Al is known for his beautiful floral designs.

Fall is definitely in the air on "The Square"
in downtown Sandersville.

Shop local.
You won't be disappointed.

More to come from Geo.'s Quarters.
Opening Day is Monday, October 8!

To my friends at CORNERSTONE TREASURES,
I'll see you on Saturday in Tennille by the Tracks.

Bonnie:)
