A Chalkboard for my List

In my other blog,
Living Life Upside Down
I have written an entry about practical
things to do when dealing with depression.
(It's still being edited.)

I was always a list-maker on the job.
Now, I am finding it more and more
necessary to make lists at home.

Knowing that I have something to do,
gets me out of bed.

Yesterday, I did that!

An old ugly print with a great frame,
a can of chalkboard paint,
a bottle of acrylic blue,
a little distressing around the edges,
and I have my list.

Who needs a list for that???

I do.

Have a Happy Wednesday!

Bonnie:)

  5. LOVE your practicality! Lists are great! I used to try keeping those lists in my head, but then my head would start to hurt and I was a nervous wreck! SO...now they have become written lists! :) Thanks for the inspiration!

  6. You created a list chalkboard that is attractive AND useful. I live by lists, I admit it. Most of them are on paper, often post its. I hope you always put one fun thing on your chalkboard list :)

  7. Few things I enjoy more than a good list, and maybe I'd enjoy it more if I had a pretty framed chalkboard like yours!

  8. I have created a few of these myself, one that hasn't even been hung on the wall and used yet! I think I need to put "hang chalkboard on wall" on a visible list...then maybe I will remember to do it. It really is true what they say..."out of sight, out of mind"...I stashed somehwere during the holidays and never remembered to get it out and start using it! I will use this post from you as a reminder to do just that... lol!
