Let the Sun Shine In

I'm sitting her, as my mama would say,
"like a knot on a log."

I should be cleaning.
My excuse of
"Rainy Days and Mondays
always get me down,"
is done.

The sun is absolutely gorgeous
and I am without excuse.
Ugh!!!

I'd rather enjoy sun from inside
unless I'm on a walk or at the beach,
better yet, a walk on the beach.

I'm sorry, if you do,
but I don't dig in dirt.

All the shades are open and
I'm bringing the sunshine in.

I made one stop on Saturday to
a flea market and found this rustic
basket for $2.
Love, love, love!

Isn't the color beautiful!

I needed something to cover the plastic planter.
The 50 cents bread cover was a pretty!

I just can't get enough of this basket!

So,
"Let the Son Shine In"

Bonnie;)

  1. What a lovely rustic basket. I like the way you have displayed your vibrant flower.

Nice way to start the day. I got up early, hit the shower, washed my hair. Will run some errands and visit my little friend Elizabeth at the nursing home this afternoon.

Have a great rest of the day, Bonnie. Sending love and smiles.

  3. So cute!
Around here we say "sitting around like a bump on a log". :) I'm doing the same thing. I had to be at work really late, and came home at 3. Now I'm still sitting in my jammies, looking at blogs... I really need to get going!

  4. Oh- It is nice you can enjoy the sun from inside. If it is nice out- I want to be out in it! I love my gardens and to see God's beauty created from seed to bloom. Enjoy sitting around like a bump on a log!;>) xo Diana

  5. Very pretty and cheery looking, Bonnie! I am the same way ~ when the sun is out I have all my shades open to bring some happiness in. Today, however, is a different story. It is cloudy, windy with on/off rain. So, I guess it will be cleaning the bathrooms for me!
