Sea Shells and Cloche and HELP with Linking UP

Call me slow, but I still haven't figured out how to do these parties.

When I try to upload my photos, I get this message that says my image is too large.

What's a girl to do?

It's your party, but I'll cry if I wanta....
you may cry too if it happened to you.

Decided to post my cloche filled with sea shells from my recent vacation spot.
I'm always "a day late and a dollar short."

I like the shells against the blue cabinet.  Makes the blue in the shells stand out.

I just can't get enough of the ironstone.  I guess I'm more facinated with my pitchers than I am the cloche.  They are my first love.

I like, I like, I like.

I muss confess, the starfish is not one I picked up on the beach.  Can you tell?  It was a packaged deal.  Didn't mean to fib!  Just remembered.

It's after midnight so that makes it the next day.

I'm off to bed.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. Hi Bonnie,
I am lovin' your ironstone too : ) and I love your cloche full of seaside treasures.
Thank yo so much for your sweet message. It made me smile and thankful that you would take the time to write.
    sending hugs...

  2. Bonnie, resize your image to 800x1200 pixels in Picasa or Picmonkey and then it will work. I resize all my images. If you resize all your images you will have way more folder space. Picasa will eventually charge you five dollars if you do not resize them. Blogger stores your photos in Picasa even if you do not use it. Olive

  3. Hi Bonnie, I saw your comment about your blog at Savvy City Farmer and I thought, she sounds like someone whose blog I would like to read. So here I am. I was right. I am enjoying your posts and am your newest follower. Hope you'll stop by and visit me at Quirky Vistas and follow too if you like.

  4. Thanks for stopping by Quirky Vistas, Bonnie. You just get yourself out there and I bet you can find just as good or better! Looks like you are in Florida too. I have got to get over to the beach again. It's been a couple months and i miss it!

  5. I edit my photos in Picassa and then I go up to the file heading and export my photos resizing to no more than 500 pixels. I resize my entire file for that day's blog whether I used all the photos or not. It just stores them smaller.

Then when you go into your picture file, you should have a file called Picassa. Go into that and there you will find your exported photos. Those are the ones I upload to my blog posts.

I love the friendships I have developed through blogging. Visit and comment and I'll be sure to drop by and talk to you.
