A Beaded Purse and a Girlie Weekend

Got a call a few minutes ago, 
"Ready for a fun-filled weekend?"

My niece.

I found this great beaded purse 
a few weeks ago.


Four years ago, 
we would have spent 
the weekend playing dress-up.

This was our girl's night then...


Miss Priss Pot


She's the one who gets to play with my daughter's little-girl jewelry.


DONE


SILLY GIRL


We'll probably do toes:)


Then, a bedtime story.

That was then.


This is now!

I don't  know what "Ready to have some fun means now.
Probably a weekend of watching Netflix 
or some pre-teen marathon!

Oh, how quickly they grow up!

    Out of 12 grandchildren we only have 3 girls. They are all adults now, and tell me what's fashionable now! HaHa

    Don't they. Used to have great weekends with my cousin's daughter and watched lots of pre-teen movies. Now she's a grown-up college junior and we chat on Facebook. Wishes for a fun weekend!

    Time just zips by, doesn't it? It's lovely that you have a special relationship with your niece. My daughter and my sister have that, and I'm always grateful for it.
