I put Facebook on hold
a few weeks ago.
I said I was done!
My college/career class goes,
"Yeah, right, Ms. Bonnie,
we've heard that one before."
I'm like,
"Yeah, but I am this time."
And I really am!
One of my girl goes,
"Ms. Bonnie, you don't need to be on Facebook.
You use it to binge and purge."
WHAT?
I do not!
I do not!
Never heard it said
quite like that!
She's right.
Facebook is more DRAMA!
Friends and Family?
Yelp, they can hurt you the most!

I've connected with new friends in Blogland
the past few days, so many in fact
that I wouldn't dare call names.
I don't want to leave anyone out.
A big, "Thank YOU!" and shout out
to Mildred at Blackberry Lane.
Mildred and I discovered that we share
mutual friends in my hometown.
What a small world!
While most of you can look out
your frosty windows and see snow,
I have to go looking for it!
And I found it...
...at the local Salvation Army.
A whopping 70 cents!
(It's snowing at PicMonkey too!)

Of course, you know how I love PINK!
A pink barn?
On second thought,
a grits mill?
I think I'll move right in!
Having a little fun with PicMonkey,
Bonnie:)

Oh what fun. Love your scenery and plates. That's one way to get snow without the mittens and boots. HaHa
ReplyDeleteI too would have to search for snow. Today was in the high 80's and it causing some terrible fires with the winds that are along with the heat. Pray for rain in CA.
Oh I was going to tell you each time I read your title I think of my wedding dress.. Chantilly Lace and a Pretty face. I love lace too.
ReplyDeleteThe plate is gorgeous and what a great deal. It was 22 cold degrees here this a.m. No snow, though.
ReplyDeleteWishing you much success with your blog. These ladies are the best!
I love the plate! And lucky you having to look for snow. I came home from work today, once again driving on slippery roads and told my hubby that I was done with winter. He said Winter isn't done with me though. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love that plate, beautiful....I like to collect picture plates to, great find, Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteIt is a chilly and cloudy morning here in Alabama. Having coffee and visiting Blogland before I venture out to the grocery store. Love that plate. I am always on the lookout for unique plates to use in decorating. Oh and I am a Georgia girl from Chatsworth Ga, near Dalton but I have lived in Alabama for 30 years now.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning! We don't have snow right now but winter isn't over yet. I'm not crazy about winter at all and am ready to see it leave anytime now =)The plate you found is beautiful. Would you believe there were several pink barns around here when I was a kid!
ReplyDeleteSo thankful to Mildred for pointing the way to you! Bless you today!
AMEN Sista' on FB! Although, I have been on hiatus from it, I just posted my sons college update because that is how friends/family "want" to be updated (forget the phone or email) .--ANYWAYS--lovely plate-cold here 28* and it was flurring, suppose to get upwards of 3 inches tonight and tomorrow, so that makes 6, right? lol--thankful to Mildred as well. She is a sweet, sweet lady. Blessings
ReplyDeleteYou are just over the river in Sandersville? I did not know that. Well, not "just", but still close. When I was young my father used to throw us in the car on winter Saturday mornings to chase snow. We would drive out of South Carolina into North Georgia and would not stop until we found snow. Then we would stay until night fell playing in the white stuff.
ReplyDeleteFacebook is overrated.
