Beach Art

My favorite beach time is in the cooler seasons of early Fall and late Spring.

It's feeling a little cooler in Georgia this week, and I'm feeling a walk on the beach.

Thinking of scooting down to Tybee for a day and just enjoying one last moment of waves tickling my toes and sunshine on my shoulders.

I've decided to put into the action a verse that my mama believed in, "You can do anything you set your mind to do."

I've been enjoying painting with my pals for the laughter and conversation.

In class, I tend to be more into conversation and less into art.

I've decided that my best work is done at home-with no one watching.

Feeling real beachy tonight, I decided to paint.

This is what the walls of my beach cottage would look like:)

I played with the colors until I got what I wanted.

A little more distressing and I was almost satisfied.

Yes, I did it!
Mama would be proud.

  2. Bonnie, that shop is called Savvy Shopper and is on Washington Rd. in Augusta right above Long Horns on the right coming from I20. It has a red sign and sits perpendicular to the road. How on earth does one send an email on Google plus? I am clueless. xoxo, Olive
