Fabulous Flea Finds on a Saturday AM

Awoke with the dawn this morning.

Only 2 yard sales in town.

I had to work so no out-of-town fleas for me.

Going through the McDonald's Drive-In, I spotted the deal of the day,
Drop-leaf table and two chairs.
The old kind-great wood-partially sanded with three coats of color-red, forest green, and mint green.
Honestly!

Both tables and chairs were SOLID!

The dark green is U-G-L-Y, UGLY!
The picture doesn't reflect the true hideousness (a word?) of it!

See the red?  I guess this chair lacked the third coat of the uuuGLY green!
The set was $30-a little more than I like to pay.
I gave her a strange, give-me-a-break look.
She goes, "It's an antique."
Vintage-not antique, but I needed something to sell and a project.
We'll see what happens.

HUGE YARD SALE after McDonald's.
What I got for my $20:  Vera Bradley, I favor, bag (not the real thing, I discovered when I got to the shop),  large iron candelabra, small iron candelabra, 10 glass candle sticks in various sizes, hurricane vase with fall potpourri, 2 picture frames, 3 piece canister set, and I don't remember what else.  Took right on to the shop, cleaned and displayed.

Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees.
A vendor at The Shed next door was set up for a pre-opening Yard Sale.
Boy, Howdy!
The wares were not from his booth (thank goodness) although I do this on occasion when in desperation.  His neighbor's home was in foreclosure.  It was an invitation to "Help yourself to the barn."
I mean, who on earth has that kind of luck!
Crazy DUDE-instead of putting items in his booth and tripling the price, he has a yard sale.

10" crystal pitcher-HEEEEEAVY!
get this-ONE DOLLAR!!!

10" Blue Pottery Pitcher
ONE DOLLAR!

5" Crystal Creamer

End-of-the-day Sale
25 cents on everything!!!

Bronze watering can, small marble globe, aqua candy tin, wooden plate with windmill and dutch man and woman.

Sold a chest for $75 today so I can justify the $54 spent.

Fabulous Fleas-A Fine Day!
