A Blue Pitcher and Bowl

I'm getting my wish for "COLD."

It's freezing at 17 degrees.
The wind-chill factor says it's almost ZERO,
so says Mr. H.

I'm loving it!
He said, "Of course, you do.
You get to stay in bed."

I'd much rather have a job!

Staying in bed is not much fun today.
I have vertigo and my world
is spinning even as I type.

I do have a few shots of
one of my favorite pieces
of my mother's.

I hope I haven't shared it before.

Mama collected pitchers and bowls.
This one is a small piece,
maybe 3 or 4 inches tall.
The "bowl" is more of a saucer.

A closer view,
isn't it pretty?

Marked too:)

Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling
on this coooold January day!

Stay Warm and Cozy,
Bonnie:)

  2. Bonnie, I think it is cold everywhere right now. Today was our first day back at school. The temp was in the single digits when we had to stand outside taking children from their cars. We worked in 10 minute shifts. I hope you are feeling better soon. Hugs! Bonnie

  4. Hello Bonnie,
Thank you for visiting us and following Red Rose Alley. Your Mother's pitcher is so special. I have always thought that blue china is the prettiest. My wedding china was even in blue. This pitcher is a treasure you can keep always. You have such a lovely blog, and I am now following you too.

  5. Hi Bonnie,

    First time visiting!

I'm so sorry about the vertigo.. my mother has that and it's just horrible.

The blue and whites are my personal favorite! Such a lovely piece. Thanks for sharing.

  6. Vertigo is no fun.
Your mother's set is very pretty. I know you treasure it.

I have many sentimental pieces of mother's, too. A Victorian lemonade set is one of my favorites.
